Description

This is a truly authentic first pressing promotional record club edition of a very hard to find album. Pressed in 1970, this is a great addition to any true Beatles fans collection!

Evidence that this is a first pressing promotional copy:

  • The "Not For Sale" note on the label and on the backside of cover
  • The words "Bell Sound" pressed in matrix
  • The words "Theatre Royal" over John Lennons head on bottom photo
  • Photo of 1964 cover on backside not blurry
  • Pressing stamp on label about 1 inch from center

Condition:

  • Cover: Very clean front and back color quality. Some storage wear on backside. Spine has some wrinkling, but is fully intact. Seams have absolutely no splitting and are in great condition. Corners have minor wear. Overall good sturdy cover, straight and glossy!
  • Record: Label looks great, very little wear at all. Vinyl is clean and glossy, but does have a number of surface scratches. Strict grading would have the record graded visually at a low VG- but the sound quality is barely affected.
