This listing is for a The Beatles Butcher Cover Second State Yesterday and Today LP 1966 T-2553 MONO
The rare and controversial "Butcher Cover" of The Beatles LP Yesterday and Today! This cover is in its second state, meaning that the original "Butcher Cover" is present underneath the re-done cover that was pasted on top. The original cover is most notably seen in the black shirt originally worn in the cover showing through as well as the bottom left corner of the cover where you can see the Butcher Cover underneath the pasted on one. We recommend enlarging the third photo in order to get a better look at the outline of the white lab coat with the dark shirt underneath.
The jacket is in great condition with wear present in the top left corner as visible in the images. The spine has some creasing and light fading of the text. The original double sided, printed sleeve is included as well! The vinyl record itself is in acceptable condition with a large amount of scratches present on both sides.
