Description

The Beatles "Yesterday And Today"

This is an original US vinyl pressing on Capitol T-2553  from 1966.    This is the Mono issue.   The cover has the 3rd state Butcher Cover.     It has been peeled very successfully, with small problems.      The back cover has a '6' at lower right.

This is for auction : 'As Is'.

The songs are : Drive My Car, I'm Only Sleeping, Nowhere Man, Dr. Roberts, Yesterday, Act Naturally, And Your Bird Can Sing, If I Needed Someone, We Can Work It Out, What Goes On, and Day Tripper.

Overall Condition is : Cover is VG /  Record is VG

The cover is VG.     80% of the front cover is amazing !!!    It looks like a professional peel job.         But there are the following problems.      There is a small sticker at top left over a small cover tear.    There is a 1 X 1 inch cover tear at the top right corner.     There is glue residue along the bottom edge and along the lower right side.    The back cover has handling stains along the right edge, a tiny cover tear at top right, and corner wear.      There is seam wear and repaired seam splits.    The cover is almost flat, with a very slight rise in the middle.

The vinyl looks VG and it plays VG.    There are lots of hair lines and handling scuffs.   It plays with light background static and no skips.     The labels are clean with no spindle marks.  The record comes in the original Capitol '66 inner sleeve.

About Me :

I started collecting records in 1966.     I started selling in Goldmine in 1985.      I now sell records at all Northwest record conventions : Portland, Seattle, Tacoma, Olympia, Eugene, Grants Pass, and Canby.       And at Crossroads Music in Portland, Oregon.     My records are from a no smoking and no pets home.

Packaging :

I take great care on every package and I do each one personally.     I will package this record between two pieces of hand cut cardboard.     Each piece is 1/2 inch thick, triple strength industrial cardboard.       Together they are very strong and unbendable.   ( Even the postmen comment on how strong this cardboard is ! )       I always remove the record from the cover and seal them in a clear plastic sleeve.     The package will be marked in red : "Fragile Record" on both sides.

Postage :  Weight : 1 pound 5 ounces

You have to pay for the postage.     I pre-weigh every record, so that you pay the exact amount the post office charges.   There are no handling charges.     This record will weigh 21 ounces ( 1 pound, 5 ounces ) when ready to ship.   US bidders can figure out your own postage costs for US Priority or Media Mail.    All US winners will get shipping through Paypal and an automatic email with the tracking number.      Overseas winners will get shipping by First Class Mail International.    You will get an automatic email with the customs/tracking number.     I will send your record as soon as you pay ( same day if before 2 PM and next day if after 2 PM : Monday thru Saturday)   I will combine shipping if you win more than one record.      If you do win more than one record, please wait for me to send you an invoice for all of your records in one package.

Serious Bidders Only :

Serious bidders only.    If you bid you must be prepared to honor your bid.     I expect payment within three days, but will wait up to five days, if you contact me.      I no longer accept bids from buyers with more than two strikes against them.     I do not hold records to fill a box.
