Description
Second pressing, 1965. Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. laminated front and back cover, with outline “stereo” on front gatefold cover. Inside flipback.
Black label with yellow logo and silver print. “The Gramophone Co. Ltd.” printed at the start perimeter print and “Sold in U.K. subject…” text.
Tracing-paper-lined “Use Emitex” die-cut inner sleeve.
Sleeve: VG/VG+. The cover is in excellent condition apart from an approx 1cm split top left front corner and another on the back bottom right corner - see photos. Laminate is coming away slightly on the back cover. This cover is well know for being delicate, especially the front gatefold. Inside the gatefold is very clean as are the top and bottom flipbacks. Emitex inner sleeve is split.
Record: VG/VG+. The record shows some surface marks but has played through on both of my turntables with no skips or jumps. There is some crackle, most noticable between tracks. See photos.
Record Collector VG The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
