“The Beatles Anthology 1” (Collectors Gift Set)

This vinyl LP album is in mint condition. It still is in the original shrink wrap it was purchased in. It still has the original receipt from Spec’s Music from 1995. If you want them; I still have the original Spec’s Music bags they came home from the store in! It is one of three anthology albums that were produced for true Beatles fans at the time of its release. If you buy all three sets I have I will make sure you get a reduced rate on shipping.

It was released in CD as well as vinyl. I purchased the vinyl and the CD’s because I’m a Beatles nut. I wanted to have everything that had anything to do with these anthology series productions.

The wife & I have long ago learned that one can not live on love alone so we have had to sell some of our more treasured items for the sake of room, board, & other essentials.

I really didn’t know how to price this vinyl. It is such a huge piece of my past and my memories that I almost want to keep it. I decided to start with an amount that I would be willing to let it go for if push came to shove.

Vinyl has become very collectable in the last few years so if you have the funds it would be a good investment.

The winner of this triple vinyl set will get free of charge 10 Beatles Collector stamps that were printed in 1964 by Hallmark. Yes, that’s over forty years ago. These stamps are in mint condition and are being sold for up to two dollars each right here on E-Bay! I wanted to sweeten the album deals a little so I thought of these stamps.

The art work on these stamps was done by Robert S. Thorne, & licensed by Nems Enterprises Ltd. In London, England.

Nems was, & still is one of the official licensed Beatles copyrighters yesterday & today. They were behind items like the “Flip Your Wig” game, & most of the lunchboxes & posters you see everywhere today.

The stamps were then printed in Los Angeles, California and exclusively distributed by Hallmark Merchandisers, Inc. in 1964.

This is about all the information I could find on these stamps. I really don’t know how many of them are still in circulation. I do know that the ones I have acquired are in mint condition.

Your stamps will be shipped to you in #1 acid free Glassine envelopes. If you want, you can leave them in these envelopes. They are specially made to store stamps & other collectable items that you want to keep for a long period time.

The second free gift that comes with this gift set is eight B&W Topps brand, (series three green print) Beatles Collector cards. These were printed in the USA in 1964. The card numbers that come with the Anthology1 gift set are as follows:

116, 117, 119, 121, 125, 128, 130, & 134. These cards are in excellent condition considering how old they are. The Faces are very good, the corners and edges are excellent.

The third free gift is made up of four pieces of novelty Beatles pound notes from the Bank of the Beatles. These have some nice artwork on both sides & look to be an excellent printing job by whoever printed them.

The forth free gift is four Beatles button pic-pins. These I threw into the deal just for fun. I really don’t know when or by whom these were made.

The last part of our gift collection has nothing to do with The Beatles; (truth be told….I’m running out of Beatles stuff) it’s a three piece set of Ridge Runner key chain knives. They have a razor sharp stainless blade & come with a chain for your keys. This is it guys, I have thrown in as many extras as I can. All I got left is the kitchen sink!

My albums are all shipped with protective covers on them. They are then boxed in special corrugated boxes that are specially made to ship albums in. I want to make sure you receive your selection in perfect condition.
