THE BEATLES - 'ABBEY ROAD'
This scarce UK 1969 pressing of their final studio album is on the Apple Record label: PCS 7088
The unusual aspect of this copy is that it has a 'A-3U' side 1 matrix usually only found on export copies.
The song 'Her Majesty' is omitted from the side 2 label.
Matrix numbers: YEX 749-A-3U & YEX 750-1
Stamper codes: 1/GA & 8/GTR
Vinyl weight: 139g
Housed in a fully laminated cover with the Apple logo aligned beneath the rear panel track-listing.
Complete with its original plain white 'Patents Applied For...' inner-sleeve.

Labels: EXCELLENT +
A superb set with just a handful of faint spindle trails around the side 2 label only. There is a tiny pin-head sized blemish on label 1 which appears to be from manufacture.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Both playing surfaces of this little played copy are clean & glossy. The only visible mark in strong daylight is a 1cm non-feelable hairline on side 1. Closer inspection beneath halogen light reveals just a few wispy paper scuffs from the inner & a sparkling rainbow shine.
Audio: EXCELLENT +
This barely played copy sounds clean & clear throughout with no trace of any groove/playwear or crackle. The aforementioned mark produces a very faint tick when played at volume in the silence between 'Come Together ' & 'Something'. Apart from that there is little else to fault on this scarce pressing which would be tough to upgrade.
Cover: EXCELLENT
A strong, clean & glossy example bearing a touch storagewear but no 'thumbnail wrinkles on the front or rear panels. There is a small laminate wrinkle on George's leg but all corners & opening edges are undamaged. There is the impression of a name on the blue area of the rear panel which is only visible at an angle. Both seams are unworn & the spine is clean & fully worded.
