Up for auction is The Beatles - Abbey Road
The Crown Jewel of my collection! A thing of beauty! A survivor! Made it thought the years unscathed!
This album and the jacket are in really good condition - see photos for actual condition. Can't play them anymore so if they don't play, I'll accept them back.
I'm not a retailer, just a guy selling his collection. I started buying albums in earnest around 1976 (when I got a real job) and stopped in the mid-80's (when CD's came out). Therefore most of my albums were purchased during that time. I didn't buy them as investments, I just wanted to hear the music (remember those days?). At some point, I started to tape my albums and listen to them on cassette, so the albums were literally only played once. I always cleaned my LP's with a Discwasher before playing, stored them upright and in their dust jackets and had good Yamaha turntable and a decent stylus.
My lack of expertise as a retailer is reflected in the starting bid. It's time to give these things a new home.
