Description
You are bidding on a very rare EXPORT issue of the The Beatles ABBEY?ROAD album. This is one of the rarest Beatles records and is in great condition. This is not a MINT copy! If your looking for a mint copy then this one is probably not for you! But it is a Good to Excellent Example.
ISSUE: Export Issue with SILVER & BLACK Parlophone Labels (Not Apple)
CAT NUMBER: P-PCS 7088

MATRIX NUMBERS Side 1: YEX-749 2 Side 2: YEX-750 1
COVER: Gloss Laminated Apple logo on the reverse
LABELS: SILVER?& BLACK Parlophone with "EMI" type ONE marks at the bottom in white print.
INNER SLEEVES: Plain ploythene sleeve
VINYL CONDITION:
Disc is 100% flat, No warps! Good original shine! Plays without any jumps, sticks or loud disturbing noises. Vinyl on both sides still has a nice gloss and both are in GOOD/EX condition.
Only a few very light surface scuffs no scratches.
This example does have a slight pressing fault!! Along approx. 3 inches of its outer edge it has a rough/unfinished edge which was created in the pressing process! See pic! This looks quite nasty but it does not effect the lead-in to the disc or the playing quality in any way!
Overall lovely example in Good to Excellent condition.
LABELS CONDITION: The all important Labels are SILVER?& BLACK?PARLOPHONE (Not Apple) in EX condition. No marks or writing and almost no spinal ware! Just some light finger marks! Probably only played through no more than a few of times! Labels also have ‘Made in Gt Britain’ and ‘The Gramophone Co Ltd’ mention and do not have ‘Sold in UK’ as this issue should!
COVER CONDITION: Laminated Cover in Good Condition. Good Solid Laminate with some light edge creasing. Some corner bumps and light edge wear here and there. It has the Apple Logo Logo on th reverse and An EMI Recording thanks to George Martin, Geoff Emerick an Phillip McDonald and Printed by Garrod and Lofthouse International Ltd’. credit. The back Cover also has a retail label for ASSANANO & SONS The Music Shop Nairobi Kenya. This label could be removed with care but I think it helps to add a little history to this albums past.
INNER?SLEEVE?CONDITION: Plain polythene inner sleeve in good overall condition.
