On offer here is a 1st Japanese pressing ( OP-7123 ) of The Beatles' 'A Hard Day's Night' on the Odeon Records label from 1964. Collectors know that initial pressings of The Beatles records in Japan were on Wine-Red colored vinyl. They also know that it is extremely difficult to find copies in decent condition. By that I mean, anything above a VG+ grade. Even ones that may look perfect usually suffer from groove damage. But, there are exceptions; and the one I'm offering here is one of them. I can not stress enough how hard it is to find a copy like this....virtually no surface noise, no distortion, no ticks, no pops, no sticking, no skipping.....just a beautiful audiophile experience of this classic Beatles Lp. I GUARANTEE you will not find a cleaner copy of this pressing ANYWHERE.
Condition of Lp Jacket: Near Mint.....beautifully laminated to front and back, perfect spine with "pinched" corners....both flipbacks are excellent. The cover photo of The Beatles was unique to the Japanese release. No Obi.
Condition of Original Inner-Sleeve: Near Mint
Condition of double-sided Lyric-Insert: Excellent(+)....would have also graded NM except for some age-discoloration and some foxing; which is normal for paper that is over 50 years old.
Condition of Record: Near Mint.......beautiful gloss to both sides....labels are near perfect and have 2 or 3 spindle lines; I can assure you, this record has hardly been played. A real gem of a find.
