THE BEATLES: ‘A COLLECTION OF BEATLES OLDIES’ – AN ORIGINAL 1966 UK BLACK AND YELLOW PARLOPHONE FIRST ISSUE STEREO VINYL LP – PCS 7016.

GUARANTEED ORIGINAL, FIRST ISSUE, COMPLETE, AND A SUPERB EXAMPLE.

First released on the 9th December 1966, and contains 16 Stunning original Beatles recordings.

The vinyl LP is on the traditional Black and Yellow Parlophone Label, with ‘The Gramophone Co Ltd’ label rim, and ‘Sold in UK…’ and Made In Great Britain label text.

Both record labels are in superb Near Mint condition, bright, clean record labels, showing just a few light signs of play to the centre spindle holes, with no fading to the Silver and Yellow text

Side 1 matrix: YEX 619-1G and Side 2: YEX 620-1G.
Side 1 stampers: 1 GM and Side 2: 2 GO.

There is an embossed ‘KT’ tax code to the centre of the side 1 record label.

Both sides of the Vinyl disc are in superb Near Mint condition, clean and bright unworn vinyl surfaces, showing a couple of light, non sounding, surface hairlines, a superb vinyl disc.

The album plays throughout without any faults.

The LP comes in it’s original White Made in Great Britain inner bag which is a nice example, no seam splits, just light age toning and light creasing.

And is housed in its ORIGINAL First Issue Laminated Ernest J. Day & Co. Ltd, London W.1. three flip back sleeve, printed ‘stereo’ to the top right hand corner of the front of the sleeve, and with three large flipbacks to the reverse.

This Laminated sleeve is a superb clean example, and in Near Mint condition. The front panel is glossy and still retains the rich colours, with only a couple of extremely mild corner bumps, the reverse panel of the sleeve is very clean and white, the flip backs, spine edge, and other edges are undamaged.

This is a beautiful example of this ORIGINAL UK FIRST ISSUE STEREO Beatles one and only original compilation albums.
