Description
Here for sale is the best conditioned original authentic unpeeled 2nd State Stereo Butcher Cover I have ever owned out of the more than ten I have owned in the last 45 years of collecting The Beatles. The east coast #2 Scranton cover has been protected by the factory shrink over the last 53 years. The cover still retains 90% of the shrink with a factory breath hole on the front & one on the back. The cover has no seam splits & 4 square corners. There is just a tiny corner bump on the upper right corner. You can plainly see Ringo’s v-neck, his head & his pants of his knees on the lower right edge. There is a faint hand written name from the original owner on the back left corner. The only aging to the cover is where the shrink is missing. There are 2 tiny marks on the edge of the mouth left when the cover was originally gripped by a gripping tool in the Capitol Records factory when the trunk cover was pasted on way back in early July of 1966. The matching east coast stereo record is also in near mint- condition with hardly any evidence of play wear. The record retains almost all of the original shine. Also included is the original inner sleeve in excellent condition with no edge splits. This is the cleanest and whitest original 2nd State Butcher Cover I have ever personally seen. This cover & LP will be double boxed for protection through shipment. Thanks Frank
