Description
THE BEATLES rare original UK "Abbey Road" 16-track Stereo LP true first pressing variant with all four 'errors' unique to only these first batch copies:
Misaligned Apple logo on reverse of sleeve near to Side 1 song titles. Second pressing corrects rear sleeve layout and logo.
Minus the "Her Majesty" credit on both sleeve and label. Later pressings of album correct the label credit.
Original iconic zebra crossing sleeve photo with obvious drain cover in the road in line with Ringo's foot. All later versions of the sleeve airbrush out this 'blemish' in the artwork.
Likewise this copy has its original rounded corner white inner sleeve marked MADE IN ENGLAND - PATENT NO. 1.125.155.

OUTER SLEEVE: Very Good +
Spine practically perfect with slight bumping to bottom left corner and slight bump and rubbing to bottom right corner. Laminate 100% intact front and back with extremely little evidence of creasing. No 'feathering' to either front or reverse of sleeve opening.
INNER SLEEVE
Very clean with light yellowing to edges. 7" split to one side seam.
RECORD :Good +
Album has obviously been played and has a few light marks but has had a careful owner. Viynal retains its lustre and gloss and though some unobtrusive surface noise is detectable between certain tracks there are absolutely no pops, loud crackles, deep scratches or jumps. Label has extremely light spindle marks only just about visible in a certain light.
Please note: record has not been professionally 'deep cleaned' as methods of cleaning can vary widely and is dictated by personal preference so I'd much rather make that the purchaser's choice on receipt of item. Label has some extremely light spindle marks only just about visible and then only in a certain light.
Album will be packed in a professional 12" LP custom cardboard mailer and shipped via Royal Mail Signed for service for domestic buyers and International Signed for any other destination.
I do everything to grade all records conservatively and accurately using the standard 'Record Collector' but all grading can be highly subjective. If the buyer disagrees with grading on receipt of record I urge them NOT to leave feedback but to contact me immediately so that we can amicably resolve the situation. If I have made an error I will gladly offer buyer a full refund. I will not offer partial refunds.
