- Here up for sale is another “Holy Grail” in The Beatles collecting world. This 1st press from May of 1970 is the ‘Let It Be’ box set issued in The United Kingdom. This box set is the best overall conditioned out of the twenty I have owned in the last 45 years of collecting The Beatles. The outer case is in excellent shape with a laminate crease on the top edge & a corner bump on the lower right. The laminated album cover with the Red Apple on the back is in near mint- condition with very little wear & no laminate creases. The 1st press 2U 2U record played today in amazing near mint- playback on both sides. You really have not heard this album in it’s full glory until you heard this pressing, freshly cut from the original stereo analogue master tapes at Abbey Road. I think Phil Spector did one Great job. The original inner trays in the box set are in excellent shape with no tears or rips. The ‘Get Back’ book is in near mint condition with the binding tight & no loose pages. Also included is the original white inner sleeve. This box set will be professionally double boxed for protection through shipment with USPS priority mail. Thanks Frank
