Description

Excellent copy of this single. It has light marks on both sides, there are a couple of light ticks towards the end of Strawberry Fields, but otherwise there is only very light background noise. There are a few spindle marks on both sides, the labels are otherwise excellent.

Going by Record Collector's grading guidelines, I believe it falls into the following category for both vinyl and sleeve:

Excellent (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
The original parlophone sleeve is excellent except for the faded writing at the top on either side - see photo. Otherwise, it is in very nice overall condition.
Matrix, mother and stamper codes:
Side 1: 7XCE 18415-1 6PT
Side 2: 7XCE 18416-2 1H There is a correction of the stamper letter on side 2 leaving only the H legible, meaning that Penny Lane was pressed from the 7th stamper.
