IN IMMACULATE CONDITION WITH A VERY GLOSSY MONO SLEEVE, BRIGHT LABELS AND VINYL, GREAT AUDIO, TOTALLY COMPLETE, 100% ORIGINAL!
No doubt, one of the ICONIC albums of the 20th Century, ‘Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band’ was released by EMI/Parlophone UK on the 1st June 1967. The album went straight to Number one, and dominated the top position in the charts for 23 weeks!
Album Description and Condition:
FIRST ISSUE **mono** VINYL LP is on the traditional Black & Yellow Parlophone Label, with ‘The Gramophone Co Ltd label’ rim, ‘Sold in the UK….’ and ‘Made in Gt. Britain’ printed to both sides of the record labels labels.
Both record labels are in immaculate Mint Minus condition, BRIGHT undamaged labels, showing only a couple of light signs of play to the centre spindle holes.
Side 1 stamped matrix: XEX 637-1 and Side 2: XEX 638-1.
Side 1 stampers: 2 RMR and Side 2: 9 RLO.
Both sides of the Vinyl Disc are in stunning Mint Minus condition, super clean and bright well cared for Vinyl surfaces, with just a couple of hairlines.
Audio Quality:
The album plays with great sound quality from beginning to end.
The Vinyl Disc comes in it’s ORIGINAL Made in Gt Britain flame inner bag, the bag is undamaged with just light creases, there are no seam splits, and is in Excellent Plus condition..
The album comes with an original first Issue Sgt Pepper Cut-Out, which is in SUPERB, UNDAMAGED Mint condition.
…..And is protected in it’s ORIGINAL First Issue Fully Laminated Garrod & Lofthouse Internal Flip back GATEFOLD Sleeve correctly printed ‘PMC 7027 Mono’ to the reverse.
This superb Gatefold Sleeve is in immaculate Mint Minus to Mint condition. The sleeve still retains its deep gloss laminate to the front, inner gatefold and reverse, with NO fading to the colours, and only minimal record indentation to the front panel. There are NO seam splits to any of the edges, and only one tiny corner bump to the bottom right corner. The inside part of the Gatefold Sleeve is in Mint condition, and the two internal fold over flaps are UNDAMAGED. The spine edge is clean, firm and undamaged, and clearly reads 'Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band'.
An immaculate example of this Mono version of The Beatles 1967 UK Album 100% ORIGINAL and COMPLETE.
