THE BEATLES 1962-1966
INDIA PRESSING
VG+ VINYL
This pressing of The Beatles 1962-1966, is a rather nice curio as it has a couple of features unique to India, the most prominent of which is the (perhaps unique) use, on both discs, of the 'classic' yellow PARLOPHONE labels instead of the Apple labels which graced the discs of virtually every international pressing. The gatefold sleeve of the India pressing is similarly unique among its international counterparts due to the absence of the 1969 'Beatles' image on the back of the sleeve; the India sleeve using the 1962 'Beatles' image on both front and back.

CONDITION
VINYL - PLAY
Playback integrity is excellent on all four sides. No skips or sticks (t/table arm is very light). Some occasional popping, confined for the most to the first few seconds of play at start and end of each side.
VINYL - VISUAL
Visually, the vinyl is shiny and free of visible surface scoring. There are some small flecks of dirt that can be removed via cleaning (I don't have a disc-cleaning machine); surface cleaning may also take care of the 'popping' referred to above.
LABELS
See pictures. The labels have a subjective 'aged' look which has more to do with the printing process and typesetting of the labels, the associated equipment of which doesn't appear to have been upgraded since 1962 at least.
SLEEVE
See pictures for approx appraisal. Note that the seams and
gatefold hinge are worn but not split
