Much sought after Red Parlophone Label Love Me Do from 1962
A final upgrade for collectors in NEAR MINT condition, with
no visible signs of handling to the playing area!
Identifying characteristics:
'MADE IN GT. BRITAIN' text under the Parlophone logo on the label.
The publishing credit 'ARDMORE & BEECHWOOD LTD' with '7XCE 17144 45' below it.
'RECORDING FIRST PUBLISHED 1962'
The title 'LOVE ME DO' is right-aligned with the writing credit 'Lennon-McCartney' below it.

In January 1963 Parlophone ceased production of its red label design. Consequently original issues of Love Me Do / P.S. I Love You & Please Please Me were the only Beatles singles, released in the '60s in the UK, with these red labels. The red labels included the 45- prefix in the catalogue number, to differentiate from 78 RPM records, even though Parlophone had ceased the production of these by the late '50s.

Disk- NEAR MINT - Disk looks and plays like it has just left the shop, retaining its original AMAZING SHINE. No wear to the text at all on the centre label. Spindle hole looks excellent.
Sleeve- EXCELLENT- CLEAN ORIGINAL sleeve with only the slightest of ruffles!
The only minus to this record is that "Shirl" has written her name on in biro. There is a slight sticker residue to the label that is barley noticeable and I wouldn't try to remove, personally.
