Description

This is but the first of about 100 give it take; rare Thailand, Malaysian & Iranian EPs & 33rpms.

This is a rare, seldom seen, Thailand 7" Ep Lady Madonna by The Beatles. Though the biggest sleeve lettering is the song, The Inner Light, Lady Madonna begins side A. It's a bit up in the air as to what the actual title of the EP really is!

This is a must-have for any serious collector of Thai Beatles EPs - especially those with a keen eye for rarity and investment potential. With a speed of 45 RPM and a black vinyl material, this EP features a compilation of some of the band's greatest hits from 1967 & early 1968.

The record grading is Very Good Plus, the labels are Good+, with a large smear-type stain on the A side - Side B has but a small mark as seen in the photos.

The sleeve grading is Good+ (A low VG-). There are zero splits or seam tears, but there is, as seen in the photos, a greenish stain in the middle of the front of the sleeve (visible, but slightly imperceptible due to the colors of the sleeve in the area of the stain). The rear of the sleeve has both a little writing on the rear bottom left lower side, a stamp & and storage, atmospheric, and ring stains. Both sides of the sleeve have uncared for storage imperfections.

I am extremely strict on grading records - I look crave perfection in a record; and when perfection is far from the case, I am honest in my opinion on the grading of all records.

One must always remember that these records I am offering for purchase - Thailand, Malaysian, Iranian - are subject to all kinds of weather and/or political upheaval related damage in almost all cases - not to mention the fact that most, if not all, are well over 50 years old and were not produced in the same numbers or quality that official releases were.

They were often only produced in well under a thousand copies, and the weather conditions these records were/are subject to in Southeast Asia would boggle the mind of those here in The USA/Europe, etc.

The release year is supposedly 1968 (I don't believe that there is any official log or definite "knowing" of the year that these EPs were actually produced & released - it is all conjecture and assumptions in my honest opinion).

The catalogue number is MRT-241. This first edition is a true rarity! This  EP is a true gem for all who understand the rarity of these EPs & their investment potential. The record size is 7", and the style is from the 1960s. The EP is written in English language and was manufactured in Thailand.
