Description
The Beach Boys Vinyl 6 LP box set of The Capitol Years complete with booklet by Peter Reum. Capitol EMI.
The outer box is in reasonable condition with some watermarks and wear to the edges and a sellotape repair. It has some writing on the back being a Christmas present from 1981. It still functions perfectly well.
The booklet is excellent.
All the LP covers and inner sleeves are present and in very good to excellent condition. They have clearly been protected over the years by the outer box. Charming picture of a red car on the front of the cover which is repeated like a jigsaw by the LP covers, see pics.
None of the vinyl has been played but a visual inspection is as follows:
1. Summertime U.S.A. Cannot see a single scratch. Some handling marks which would benefit from a clean.
2. California Dream. Cannot see a single scratch. Some handling marks which would benefit from a clean.
3. Sunshine Music. Cannot see a single scratch. Some handling marks which would benefit from a clean.
4. Changes. Cannot see a single scratch. Some handling marks which would benefit from a clean.
5. Timeless. Cannot see a single scratch. Some handling marks which would benefit from a clean.
6. Break Away. 3 scratches on side 1, one at the very end. They don't look too deep and at a guess should play OK. Side 2 a couple of tiny scratches hardly noticeable.
While away the hours with that classic Beach Boys California sound of the 60's and 70's.
