Description

The Beach Boys Pet Sounds LP (Mono, Scranton pressing) 1966 USA Capitol Record T 2458 EX cover, VG disc
Cover is clean with solid corners, no seam wear, no ring wear, and no cutout marks. 
The disc has light marks and light surface noise but plays nicely. 
My research indicates this is a first edition mono pressing from the Scranton pressing plant: 

  • Label rim does not have say "a subsidiary of Capitol" (indicates first edition) 
  • A side matrix T1-2458-F17 (indicates first edition Scranton) 
  • B side matrix T2-2458-F19 (indicates first edition Scranton) 
  • Runout groove has 'IAM' in a triangle stamped in the dead wax (indicates Scranton)
  • Side 1 and 2 numbers have no serifs  (indicates Scranton)
  • 1.5" pressing ring (indicates Scranton) 
  • '3' next to RIAA logo (indicates Scranton)
