The 1977 CBS Records Convention took place on July 30th of that year at the Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane, London, UK, and featured The Beach Boys and included Brian Wilson, in one of his first full shows with the band during the "Brian Is Back" era.
I love this show for the inclusion of three songs from the Love You album (Airplane, Roller Skating Child, and Honkin' Down the Highway) along with two songs from 15 Big Ones (Back Home and Rock and Roll Music). It's probably the closest thing to a "Live Love You" album we'll ever get.
As a special treat, you'll get to hear Mike Love cozy up to the audience of CBS executives by dissing Warner Brothers.
