The BEATLES,BEACH BOYS,KINGSTON TRIO Capitol Club Promo
1964 " A Surprise Gift From the Beatles, The Beach Boys And The Kingston Trio", Capitol Record Club promotional mail-out; 7 x 21" plastic coated cardboard tri-fold with one side being a 33 RPM recording. Narration/ad + excerpts from “Roll Over Beethoven”. This does have a crease, and it had some skips towards the end (during the Kingston Trio “Saints Go Marching In” excerpt). The middle Beach Boys “Little Deuce Coupe” excerpt skipped the first time I played it, but not the second time. I played it at my usual 1.5 grams on a Dual 1219, and your results may differ. Attractive condition otherwise, with the crease very noticeable only on the record side; mail-in coupon attached, and pictures of other Capitol LP’s & artists on both sides. Too big to fit all at once on my scanner; and it has never been completely opened flat, so keep that in mind on the pics. US winner add $3.50 for mailing; foreign must pay additional postage - amount to be determined at auction close. Insurance (at Post Office rates, see their site), recommended, and maybe REQUIRED at my discretion. Please see my other auctions; combine winnings and save on mailing.
