Description

Here up for auction is a 3rd state Mono "Yesterday... And Today" Butcher Cover and Record Album by The Beatles. This is an original cover that has been peeled (3rd state) and the original album with the orange 1966 Capitol Records inner sleeve. I purchased this some years ago (20 or 25) and it's been in my collection ever since. Album, cover and sleeve are all seperate and come in a crystal clear poly sealed cover. The cover has a few smaller tears (mainly on the bottom and left top) and 3 larger (two on left side and one on upper right side near the opening) 1 1/2 inch in length, most likely when it was peeled. I see no glue residue only 2 light rubs (one above Ringo's head on the left and one on John's smock and chunk of meat on right). This looks to have been a cut-out account a BB hole in upper right - through the word "Can" on the song "And Your Bird Can Sing" on top cover. The back of the cover is still fairly nice with light record ring wear. Number 6 in lower right corner. Looks to be seam splits on title end - I never put the record in the cover to actually see how much but it looks to be about the whole length? The vinyl is only a VG account of noticeable light scratches (held up to light) and a name written in pen on side one in the red to yellow colors on the rainbow label. The record itself still holds a good sheen - I've never played it. (Please look at the photo's). A nice cover if you don't have one. Will ship insured. Please email with any questions. Thanks for looking
