================================================================ I am selling some of my best records, which I have collected over the decades. This one is a true rarity!   ================================================================ .E.M.I did not prepare demonstration discs for any Beatles UK E.P.'s, so this is the closest you can possibly get to the very first copies ever to come off the pressing line, with its earliest possible 1G stamper codes   ================================================================
THE DISC
Matrix: Side1: 7TCE 894-1      Stamper code: 1-G Matrix: Side2: 7TCE 895-1      Stamper code: 1-G
AUDIO - EX
All tracks play with crystal clarity and silent run-ins/outs and the grading would be higher but the line on side 2 does produce four soft background ticks near the start of the first track and a single 'pop' on the final track. The easily damaged 'Yesterday' plays mint! 
VISUALLY - EX-
Both sides retain most of their original gloss lustre, but there are a few light surface lines on side 1 and one more noticeable one as well as a small scuff on side two.
Both labels are in top condition and as you can see from the close-up photos there are just a couple of 'hard to see' small spindle trails, suggesting careful alignment and not too many plays.

THE SLEEVE - EX
Lovely example with a few small creases and a tiny bit of laminate separation, but no diagonal corner stress bends or corner bumps. The unprotected back panel is superb. A price of 10/9 (10 shillings and 9 pence) is written in the top corner, which would have been the original retail selling figure.
