Description
Just recently I bought a massive collection of 60's and 70's LPs...some are in surprisingly immaculate condition, and some are not, but the original owner (a well-respected Australian vinyl hoarder) was a fastidious collector of the styles he loved - 60's punk/garage, British invasion well-knowns [Beatles/Hollies/Dave Clark 5/Gerry & The Pacemakers/Zombies/Troggs/etc..], 70's West Coast sounds, pop-psych and he'd obviously forraged far and wide since there's a flurry of unique South American, New Zealand,Taiwanese, South African, Japanese releases amongst them all.
Here then, is one of the LPs from his collection:

DATE OF RELEASE: April/May 1964 .
PRESSED IN: AUSTRALIA
ORIGINAL FIRST PRESSING?: No, but very early still...there were FOUR different designs of the Leeds-Music-publishing black and silver 'BANNER STEREO' labels...and this is the 4th of them. The differences were subtle, mainly regarding the order from left to right of the publishers' logos to the left of the centre-hole on both labels - for instance, on Side two, this one reads: JEWEL MUSIC..TU-CON MUSIC...LEEDS MUSIC
Has flipback cover: glossy laminated front and matt back...with black and gold 'stereo'sticker folded over the spine, and with the mono and stereo catalogue numbers on the back at top right = first print run of the stereo cover.
The matrix numbers are consistent with the first pressing, and are: YEX 110-2 and YEX 111-2 ...so it appears the original stampers were used for at least the first four pressings. (Other than a super rare test-pressing, there was never a YEX 110-1 or YEX 111-1 matrix.)

CONDITION:
COVER: ( VG[+] )...has a couple of crinkles on the spine, and some scuffing on the back (seems a name has been 'scuffed' out above the album title)...
RECORD: ( VG )...has several light marks (nothing heavy at all)...
LABELS: (Side One: M- / Side Two: MINT )...
