Description
Red vinyl numbered edition. A real collector's item.
The BEATLES - WHITE ALBUM - 1969 numbered sleeve LP JAPAN **RED VINYL** with obi strip
First Press. "Gourd" in dark green Obi (a narrow Obi with a large round Apple logo at the top) / with Order sheet.
Dark Green Apple label: with "TOSHIBA MUSICAL..." credit. The words "SIDE X" at the left center of the label is smaller than the other Apple label.
Individually serial numbered on front cover. Original inner sleeves are die-cut black paper sleeves with contoured corners (see images).
Tracklist timings not provided anywhere on this release.
AP-8570~71 on spine.
AP-8570 on disc 1 labels.
AP-8571 on disc 2 labels.
Includes poster but no photos.
Vinyl for the most part sounds fantastic. A few marks to vinyl, a couple look strong, and one at the start of Revolution no 9 plays with clicks but otherwise the whole thing plays great.
Gatefold sleeve with low number is in really good condition, just some light browning. Obi looks great, in fact so good it may not be original (just a guess?) See photos which are part of the description. Inners are original plain black with some damage to holes but as they are black it's harder to tell.
A rare and interesting copy.
