Released in 1968, on offer here is a very rare and unusual Beatles collectable. A UK WHITE LABEL TEST PRESSING of the 1968 classic from THE BEATLES, commonly known as the White Album. In fact it is record one the first record which features BACK IN THE USSR – DEAR PRUDENCE etc, and is in very nice condition, Probably EXCELLENT if using the RC guide. Vinyl is very clean and plays through like a charm, with minimal surface noise to distract from these classic numbers. In all my years this is the very first test pressing of the WHITE ALBUM I have ever come cross, Extremely RARE indeed. In fact I am no expert on the Beatles and can’t shed too much light regarding this rarity apart from it has a K T tax code stamped on side one of the label, which does not seem to be on regular copies of this album, and there is a gap between the X EX on side two on the machine stamped matrix numbers on the run off.

There is no sleeve, or any other paraphernalia with this disc, it just comes with a plain white record store cardboard cover that it has been housed in for many years. With the tracks written on in red biro. A very unusual Beatles item that would in my opinion make a welcome addition to any Beatles fans collection. I am starting this auction at a very low price with absolutely no reserve HAPPY BIDDING

As a collector myself, I know how frustrating and disappointing it is to receive a tatty item which bears very little resemblance to the description given. I try hard to be as accurate as I can when grading, and use all sources available - including the 'Record Collector Grading System.

Nor will I neglect to mention glaringly obvious vandalism such as writing on the label or sleeve. Which amazingly have been omitted from a lot of descriptions to purchases I have unfortunately gone on to make!
