NO OFFERS PLEASE - AUCTION ONLY    ================================================================ Here is an original first issue of this iconic Beatles album, including a second disc with a 1G (earliest possible) stamper code.
It has a (-1) matrix ending and 'An E.M.I. Recording' label text, illustrating the fact that labels which omit this information in error, as well as labels with it on, were simultaneously in production from day one.
It is not uncommon to find sets with mismatched labels (such as here) or even one disc with mismatched labels on each side.
All copies, mono or stereo, with or without 'An E.M.I. Recording' but carrying 'Sold In U.K.' text are 1st pressings.  ================================================================

The vinyl surfaces are in spectacular condition, considering that they are 54 years old. It is obvious when you look at them, that they have always been together in this set. The surfaces on all four sides have a deep gloss finish and look as good as they appear in the photos above. There are no obvious needle lines that I can see, even in reflected daylight. All that is apparent are some surface areas displaying what some sellers would call 'bag rash' which is a very good way of describing what I see here. Needless to say, playback is sublime. Both discs do have some audible static noise through the run-ins/outs (quite common on '60's analogue stereo discs), but all the tracks play perfectly, without interference and with crystal clear sound throughout.
COVER - EX- # 0257108 This is a very nice example of a top loading, first issue cover which has age toned to a cream shade rather than yellow. It is also a fairly low number for a stereo package and as such, has a blank back panel which is usually found with mono discs. It has creases, bumps and some mild pressure lines but is still in better condition than most, with just a few tiny laminate splits down the spine and a small indent just before the 'The Beatles' text on the spine. The wording is perfectly legible though and there is no browning. Please bear in mind that any 'white album' cover always looks much whiter in photos than it actually is and this one is no exception, although it is as good as you are likely to find.
The single die-cut, original inners are creased but the seams are intact without any of the usually serious splitting found on most.
The lyrics poster appears unused, is in excellent condition and is a genuine original.
The 4 photos are near perfect and unused and are originals too.
The thin paper photo spacer is in remarkable condition.
This is a wonderful, fully loaded, original package with everything in amazing condition.
