WHITE ALBUM
Beautifully preserved 1st pressing with all components in wonderful condition including the top loading cover
Information about original 'White' album covers: Unfortunately, modern cameras love to portray these covers as snow white. In fact, it is almost impossible to adjust any pictures to show a true representation. I bought a copy in 1969 and the cover was cream, even then, due to the pigment used in its manufacture. Also, being plain and light, they show every blemish, every stress line, every bend and disc impression. You will never find a 'mint' first issue, simple as that. Even if it was archived it would still be cream/beige. This particular cover is in exceptional condition, off white/cream, not mint but probably as good as you are likely to ever find.

Cover:            
Ex: Outer and inner panels are smooth have no stress bends - near perfect spine, a few laminate splits but no browning - creamy tone but just look at the pictures - very hard to find a better example
Discs:            
Visually: Ex+: Probably better but opinions do vary - lovely deep black gloss surfaces - just a few harmless handling marks, nothing more                       Audibly  Ex:   Again, probably better - there are no unwanted intrusions from start to finish on both discs - because these have obviously been played and are 52 years old they will not sound mint but are as close as you could reasonably expect
Labels:           
Clean and undamaged - carefully aimed spindle trails which are not excessive

Inner sleeves: 
Fragile original single die cut - great condition - near perfect, a couple of small seam splits
Lyric poster:    
Age toned but in great condition
        Photos:           
Near perfect

All records are thoroughly cleaned and I will continue with the surreal requirement of separating the disc from the cover, even though they have been together now for over 50 years and have left a lasting impression :-)
