Description

The BEATLES 

"WE CAN WORK IT OUT" b/w "DAY TRIPPER" 

7" single...pressed in Australia...on Parlophone (distributed by E.M.I. [Australia] Ltd. here...catalogue number: A-8183)...

I only know of ONE 60's label design of this 45 issued here - but two distinct pressings, only discernible by the matrix details - and this is the RARE first pressing:

FIRST PRESSING: Matrix details (all hand-etched):

Side One:    7XAPA  1036-1    7XCE 18341  

Side Two:    7XAPA  1037-1    7XCE 18342  

SECOND PRESSING: Matrix details (all hand-etched):

Side One:    7AXPA  1036-2     

Side Two:    7AXPA  1037-2    

I'm not sure if there's a late 60's pressing with Northern Songs publishers' credits...I've never seen one.

Never in pic sleeve here...comes in its original (correct-design for 1965) Aussie Parlophone company sleeve... 

CONDITION:

VINYL: ( G+ ) ...has LOTS of scuffs and marks...but plays through loudly!...with some crackles and pops admittedly...

LABELS: (Side One: VG++ / Side Two: VG++ ) ...

If you have any concerns about the accuracy of my gradings, please check my feedback for the odd nice comment from some satisfied folk out there.... (and hopefully you may be able to join their ranks).
