Description

The BEATLES  Something New  Capitol Records LP  Reissue 1968  with  Factory Mispressing

You're bidding on a rare U.S. LP reissue pressing of the BEATLES album Something New originally issued by Capitol Records in
1964.  This copy was manufactured at the Capitol Pressing Plant in Jacksonville in 1968. What makes this pressing unique is that
there's an audio defect on the song And I Love Her on Side 2. The Right channel of the Stereo Mix cuts in and out after the intro and
George's acoustic guitar is mostly missing. It comes back in before his solo.  How the engineer who cut the metal mother plates
didn't notice is beyond me !  Their poor quality control created a unique listening experience and a rare collectable.
The Record is in VG- condition with plenty of scuffs and scratches but plays VG+ or better with very little groove wear.  The
Cover is in G+ condition with splits thru the top and bottom, 2 splits on the spine, stains, dirt and wear.

                                                                                       Starting Bid $ 25.00
