Matrix numbers : XEX 605 - 2 / XEX 606 2
Stampers : 1 GTR / 7 GTH
1966 UK 2nd press Beatles classic in an overall solid very good plus (VG+) condition. Thick, completely flat & jet black sheen vinyl in very good plus (VG+) condition - a few light hairlines & surface scuff marks on each side but nothing feelable or obviously below the surface and mostly only visible with close inspection under a bright light...the exception to this is a 2mm wide light, non-feelable, and surface only scuff line on side 1 which is visible in normal daylight when the record is tilted at the right angle, and traverses half of the record from the circumference to the dead wax area, and another 4cm line scuff close by (see photo)...again, non-feelable, surface only and not impinging upon the excellent sound quality; clean labels, virtually unmarked apart from a very small scratch line on each (see photos) and some light spindle trails on each label, and with the early press "K" & "T" tax codes embossed upon the side 1 label; lovely and very good plus (VG+) condition at least condition front-side laminated Garrod and Lofthouse outer sleeve with firm unscuffed edges, rigid original "nipped end" spine and near perfect corners with barely any rubbing at all. There are just a few very light storage marks and some hints of minor age discolouration towards the edges but no other blemishes to speak of. The opening sides are firm with no fraying, the flipbacks remain in great shape, and all art work/colours/text remain in great condition with brilliant definition still; original "MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN" and "PATENTS APPLIED FOR" plain white inner sleeve with no side splits and just some minor creasing and very slight age discolouration; excellent (EX) MONO audio quality throughout with great tone and clarity - no interference/distortion, no clicks or pops, and any background crackle is at an absolute minimum (just some very minor crackle during a few of the intermissions - negligible) with every track remaining a brilliant listen.
Impressive, highly collectable, and becoming more difficult to get hold of by the day.
POSTAGE COSTS :
For the UK £5 using Royal Mail 1st class signed for;
for continental Europe £14 using Royal Mail 1st class tracked/signed for,
and for the rest of the world £20 using Royal Mail 1st class tracked/signed for.

Note that I always insert the vinyl into a new plain white poly-lined inner sleeve in order to protect the original during postage, and separate this from the outer sleeve to prevent seam splits. I use thick cardboard stiffeners and take great care in my packaging to ensure as far as possible that these precious records reach their destination in exactly the same condition as when they leave me.

A bit about myself : I have been collecting UK vinyl for over 54 years from a variety of sources : my own collection, friends and family, car boot and garage sales, door-to-door leaflets, and even through placing an advert in my wife's shop window! My ebay feedback speaks for itself so rest assured that you are buying from a trusted seller and in the very unlikely event that you are unhappy with your purchase just e-mail me and I will sort out the problem. I offer a "no questions asked" refund policy. If you require any further information, including photos, then let me know and I'll do my best to oblige. There is NO RESERVE on this item. Richard
