Description
The BEATLES Revolver PMC 7009
This is the rarer of the Revolver albums which has been in my personal collection for over twenty years. It includes the different version of ‘Tomorrow Never Knows’ which was quickly substituted for a different mix but not before some were sold with this version. This is denoted by having XEX 606-1 in the run out groove on side 2
The record has the ‘Gramophone’ rim and the ‘SOLD IN THE UK’ statement. The letters are KT around the centre rim on side 1
Housed in a front laminated tri flipback Garrod and Lofthouse Ltd sleeve with the original ‘Patents Applied For’ inner.
The Cover: This is in clean, excellent condition. The front laminated section is nice and clear with only a bit of discolouration on the opening side. Corners only show very light wear and there is only a small amount of light creases in the laminate. The spine is excellent, straight, clean and clearly legible; likewise top and bottom are excellent. The unlaminated back is very good plus with a couple of small creases and a small amount of ring wear. All flipbacks in excellent condition. Absolutely no tears or writing. Overall a very presentable copy of this wonderful first pressing Lp
The Vinyl is bright, clean and sits flat on the turntable. It retains its original lustre. There are some very light surface lines only, all of which are superficial and absolutely NO scratches or anything deeper. I would grade this at least Very Good plus. It has the all-important XEX 606-1 in the run out groove on side 2. It plays excellent throughout with some relatively light background noise and absolutely no pops, skips or jumps. The sound is bright and clear and it makes for an enjoyable listen. A very pleasing and collectible copy.
The labels are in excellent, clean condition with absolutely no writing. There are some spindle marks around the label.
White inner in very good condition
Please note this Lp will be very carefully packed in a strong card mailer to ensure it reaches the buyer in this condition. Signed for Postage only. Thanks for looking.
