Description

I have acquired a large quantity of vinyl records from a collection amassed over the last 60 years, some of which are demonstration and factory sample discs. So please have a look at the other items currently listed.

Although E.M.I. did issue this single on a green demonstration label, this copy displays a standard black label but it does carry the earliest possible 1G/1G stamper codes as well as a factory sample sticker.

I do have a very rare A frame demonstration copy of this single listed as well, which also has 1G stamper codes.

The disc is in spectacular condition! There are NO needle lines on either playing surface and even when tilted towards reflected daylight, they still look like new.

There are just a few mild spindle trails which are only visible against reflected light and the centre hole is sharp and unworn.

This disc has clearly only received a few plays on top equipment and as a result, audio quality is as close to perfect as you will ever get. I am happy to grade it as NEAR MINT!

The sleeve is the correct, company issue, only used on initial first pressings and is in top condition. It carries an original 1968 shop sticker, where it first appeared as an advance copy from EMI.

These are 1st pressed matrix endings. -1 was never used on this single.
