The BEATLES 

"FROM ME TO YOU" b/w "THANK YOU, GIRL" 

7" single...pressed in Australia...on Parlophone (distributed by E.M.I. [Australia] Ltd. here...catalogue number: A-8083)...

There were at least SIX different label variations of this 45 issued here - this one is LABEL VARIATION #5:

LABEL VARIATION #1: ...this was on the purple Parlophone label and has the publishing logo, 'Copyright Control', to the left of the centre-hole on each side.

LABEL VARIATION #2: ...this was also on the purple Parlophone label and has the publishing logo, 'Copyright Control' to the left of the centre-hole on the 'B side...and on the 'A' side it has the Essex Music publisher's logo.

LABEL VARIATION #3: ...this was on the black Parlophone label and, to the left of the centre-hole on the 'A' side it has the Essex Music publisher's logo, and on the 'B' side, in the same place, has 'LEEDS MUSIC' between two thin lines, in sloping text/italics.

LABEL VARIATION #4: ...this was also on the black Parlophone label and, to the left of the centre-hole on the 'A' side it also has the Essex Music publisher's logo, and on the 'B' side, in the same place, also has 'LEEDS MUSIC' between two thin lines...but this time in upright/NON-italic text.

LABEL VARIATION #5: ...this was on a black Parlophone label, issued in about 1972/73, with an entirely different label lay-out...and with the word 'STEREO' on each side (it was NOT in stereo, and was in fact, the same versions as all the above).

LABEL VARIATION #6: ...this was one of only 9 Beatles singles to be briefly issued here on the orange Parlophone label, this one in Feb. 1980...with even less text than LV#5...

Never in pic sleeve here...comes in its original (correct-design for late 1972/73)  purple and white Aussie EMI company sleeve (EMI has discontinued most of its label-specific company sleeves at this time)...

CONDITION:

VINYL: (EX[-] ) ...beautiful copy!...so shiny and so close to mint...just has a few super-light 'hair-line' marks only...pretty insignificant really...plays perfectly...

LABELS: (Side One: MINT / Side Two: MINT ) ...
