If you are in a hurry, here is a quick summary: The cover is in great condition. The disc delivers excellent audio!
If you have more time, a detailed description follows, where you'll find my honest appraisal of every item but please bear in mind that vinyl records were bought to be played, not put away in a cupboard. I offer original Beatles U.K. pressings, now between fifty and sixty years old, in excellent, collectible condition but they have been played and therefore, will never be mint. Please click on my score right now and read the feedback comments:
There is a lot of mis-information and guess work, even by on-line websites, when it comes to original Beatles vinyl. Abbey Road, in particular, seems to have had its 2/1 1st pressing matrices overlooked by many, in favour of a variety of different label variations, or whether or not the apple logo on the cover, is in-line or out of line with the text. You can make up your own mind from the photos above but for me, as a lifelong collector, this is definitely a 1st pressing.

AUDIO - EX
Audio is crystal clear! Expect a tiny bit of static sound between the tracks. There is the odd random 'pop' on side 2 but no repetitive clicks. The majority of tracks play flawlessly! VISUALLY - EX Lovely looking disc with just the lightest of hairline marks on the surfaces. However, there is a careless needle line which runs across a couple of tracks on side 2 (most likely caused by a jolt during play). This does cause the odd 'pop' , as mentioned above but no repetitive ones. Listening to the tracks, if the line wasn't there, you would think these were just a few dust 'pops'. I'm really fussy about 'clicks' etc but there is no real issue here to spoil the enjoyment of the tracks. I honestly think that most people would not even consider it to be a problem. The whole album sounds fantastic!

THE COVER - EX+
Superb example which is as good as it looks in the photos. Being a true, early issue, it has an oversized front panel which curves down where it meets the flat back panel, top and bottom. You can see this in the main photo, where it catches the light along the top edge. You cannot hold the opening together completely flat, as there will always be a raised section. This is unique to all first printed UK, Abbey Road covers. The front and back panels are super smooth, with no pressure lines. There is just one thumb bend just above John's head but nothing more. The corners are perfectly square and the thin spine is mint. Apart from some unavoidable spine-edge wrinkles, front and back, this example is in outstanding condition.

THE INNER SLEEVE - VG
Correct, original, single die-cut issue. Made from ridiculously thin paper, this one has survived better than most but does have disc penetration seam splits, feathering and wrinkling but, rather surprisingly, the hole is absolutely perfect. It is still largely intact. ======================================================================
The photos are of the actual item. I always use professional, anti-static, cleaning fluid and listen to the whole disc. Professional mailers are always used.
I will be listing more Beatles records, so please have a look
