Description

The B-52’s – Cosmic Thing (1989 Reprise LP) NM Vinyl w/ Shrink, Original Inner Sleeve, Allied Pressing

Original 1989 U.S. pressing of Cosmic Thing by The B-52’s on Reprise Records (1-3355), featuring the smash hits “Love Shack,” “Roam,” and “Channel Z.” This copy is a beautifully preserved Allied pressing with matrix number ASK-1-3355 WW4, indicating an authentic '89 cut. The jacket is still housed in its original shrinkwrap with only a small opening for access to the vinyl — a real gem for collectors of late-'80s alternative and new wave classics.

A high-energy return to form for the band, Cosmic Thing blends danceable rhythms, bright surf-rock guitar lines, and their unmistakable vocal interplay. This album helped launch The B-52’s into global pop stardom and remains a cornerstone of their discography.
