Description

Very RARE 10" 45 Acetate Test Pressing by The Avantis. "Wax 'Em Down" B/W "Gypsy Surfer" .  Recorded at United Recording in Hollywood in the summer of 1963.

Recordings sound the same as the Chancellor 45 but the times are different.

Wax Em is 2:03 on the acetate and 2:00 on Chancellor.

Gypsy is 2:18 on the acetate and 2:08 on Chancellor.

The Avantis were Pat and Lolly Vegas, Danny Hamilton and Gary Leeds.

Recordings were arranged by Judd Hamilton and financed by The Ventures and Josie Wilson.

Both sides are fantastic surf instrumentals.

Both sides play great. Wax Em has a light scuff/scratch which is not audible. VG-/VG
