Description

Original UK first pressing of The House Of The Rising Sun by The Animals, issued on Columbia in 1964. This copy features the black Columbia 45 RPM labels with “Sold in U.K. subject to resale price conditions” text and 1N / 1N matrix numbers, confirming an early first press. Vinyl grades EX, showing light surface marks consistent with careful play, with no deep scratches. Sound remains strong and punchy. Housed in an original Columbia company sleeve graded VG, displaying creasing, edge wear and handling marks but fully intact. A cornerstone British Invasion single and a must-have for collectors of 1960s UK rock.
