Description

The Best Of The Animals is the first greatest hits compilation album by the British blues rock group. It was released on MGM Records in February 1966. The album was a great commercial success, peaking at #6 on U.S. Billboard Top 200 Albums Chart. This was their highest charting and the disc remained on chart for over two years and is their only album to receive Gold status by the RIAA in their career.
