The Amazing Bud Powell Vol. 2 10" LP

Blue Note BLP 5041. Blue/White deep groove 161 Lexington Ave NYC label. Mono. USA 1954.

First pressing. RVG and ear in dead wax. Thick cover, no inner sleeve.



Graded cover/record VG+/VG+
Cover has light wear at corners and seams, no splits, tape or writing.
Record has a few light and small marks but clean on the whole, lables has spindle marks and some discoloration.
Plays excellent with very light background noise only, one tick on side 1 and two on side 2.

The second Blue Note LP with Bud Powell on piano, George Duvivier on bass and Arthur Taylor on drums.

Glass Enclosure / Collard Greens And Black-Ete Peas / Polka Dots And Moonbeams / Audrey

A very rare LP with great jazz and for a record this old - in really fine condition.
Bud Powell was the first pianist to take Charlie Parker´s language and adapt it successfully to the piano.
Therefore he is of great importance for piano in jazz.
