Description
From my collection and only played once, quite probably not at all. Classic Records had a fabulous sound.
If played then only on Linn LP12 with top quality moving coil cartridge. Cleaned on Keith Monks Omni with L'Art du Son solution
Photos and more description to follow.
Was going just to listen to the first track but enjoyed it and kept on going. So now played twice, quite probably only once
Sound: No surface noise, really quiet, lovely sound. And I don’t really like jazz but I thought this was really good.
Vinyl: visible paper scuffs (I think they are called) only on both LPs
Labels: fine
Inner sleeves: a little creased; wavy from new presumably from lamination of inner poly liner with outer paper sleeve.
Sleeve: heavy duty laminated card, always been stored in outer protective sleeve so clean and bright and fresh. No scuffing, fading of colour or loss and only one bump to bottom of rear of sleeve - see photo.
Protective cover: later soft poly cover, slightly creased and with odd manufacturing flaw where one seam the polythene is bent over on itself; 200 gram sticker fine

Having noticed the labels on the Lee Morgan LP, same applies here.
Underneath the label there is a groove in the vinyl and in the manufacturing process the label has been pressed into this groove. In place on both sides the label looks to have been cut through on the outer edge of the groove and there is 1 there is a short tear on Side One - see photos. A Blue Note thing perhaps?
