Description

I HAVE JUST PURCHASED A NICE JAZZ COLLECTION DATING FROM THE 1960s, INCLUDING MANY MONO PRESSINGS, I'LL BE LISTING TITLES FROM THIS COLLECTION OVER THE NEXT WEEK OR TWO - This is an ORIGINAL 1963 MONO BLUE NOTE RECORDS U.S. PRESSING OF THE 1955 LP titled 'The Amazing Bud Powell Volume 1'  from jazz piano legend Bud Powell with various combos.  It is Blue Note Records U.S. catalog number BLP 1503, deep groove heavy rigid vinyl pressing, thick cardboard cover with the original clear poly outer wrapping still surrounding the cover, with the 'ear' and 'RVG' etchings in the runout area.  Blue Note Records address is shown as 'New York U.S.A.' on the record labels and '43 West 61st St., New York 23' on the back album cover and on the 'Blue Note' inner sleeve.  The original 'Blue Note' inner sleeve with pictures of other then-current Blue Note Records LPs is present and included.

A3  Un Poco Loco

Visual condition of record is a real nice high VG+ with a very few very light surface and sleeve marks which cannot be felt and do not affect play.  Record plays very quietly with almost no surface noise.  Condition of cover is VG+ with the original clear poly outer wrapping torn and frayed down the open edge but otherwise still surrounding the cover, and with the only real flaws being a little bit of contact and ring wear and some wear along the open edge and on the corners on the open edge.  Cover has no water damage, tape, splits, tears, writing, or stickers.  'Blue Note' inner sleeve has a few wrinkles and creases, a couple of small splits in two of its edges which have been repaired with clear tape, and some fraying and a few small tears along its top edge.  This original 1963 mono LP would be a choice addition to any Blue Note Records or modern jazz record collection!  Winning bidder pays $4.00 media mail postage or actual priority mail postage within the U.S.  I WILL SHIP WORLDWIDE - PLEASE NOTE: NEW FIRST CLASS INTERNATIONAL AIRMAIL POSTAGE TO AREAS OUTSIDE THE U.S EXCEPT FOR CANADA (14.50) AND GERMANY is $22.00 - YES IT'S CRAZY, THIS IS THE U.S. POSTAL SERVICE AS OF 6/1, NOT ME!!!  PLEASE NOTE: AN EXTRA $13.95 TO COVER REGISTERED POSTAGE WITH TRACKING AND SIGNATURE DELIVERY WILL BE ADDED TO ALL SHIPMENTS VALUED OVER $50.00 GOING TO BUYERS OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES.  ALSO, DUE TO THE GERMAN POST AND CUSTOMS CONTINUING FAILURE TO DELIVER MY PACKAGES, I AM FORCED TO ADD AN ADDITIONAL $13.95 TO COVER REGISTERED POSTAGE WITH TRACKING AND SIGNATURE DELIVERY TO ALL SHIPMENTS GOING TO GERMANY.  I APOLOGIZE FOR THIS, BUT I CANNOT CONTINUE TO LOSE MONEY AND HAVE MY EBAY REPUTATION DAMAGED BY THE GERMAN POST AND CUSTOMS' INABILITY TO DELIVER MY PACKAGES.  Please e-mail me for postage rates to other areas outside the U.S.!   WINNING BIDDER PLEASE DO NOT SEND CASH - IT PROBABLY WILL NOT GET HERE! I will give an immediate refund (less shipping) upon return of the LP if winning bidder is dissatisfied for any reason. Good luck!
