Description
The Action - Baby You've Got It/ Since I Lost My Baby
(Parlophone R5474 UK 7" Single 1966)
This is a UK original 7" single pressing. The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has black & silver "Parlophone" labels which have a 4 pronged centre. It has 1st press 7XCE 19074-1 and 7XCE 19075-1 matrix numbers. It comes with its original generic "Parlophone" company paper sleeve.
A classic mid 1960's Mod Dancer/ Freakbeat 7" Single. UK original pressings are very rare. Unfortunately, this is quite a well played copy. However, playback is still very reasonable overall. I have some other rare & collectable 1960's Northern Soul/ Mod Dancer UK original 7" Singles for sale too. This includes some rare Demo pressings. So please see my other listings.
Vinyl: There is a very light 10 cm hairline surface rub mark that goes across the A-side. In the main, this hardly really notices, and only really notices when the disc is angled a certain way under a strong light. There is a small thumb-tip sized area of moderate surface rub marks, or surface scuff marks, at the start of the B-side. There are about 4 other light, mild or very mild hairline surface marks, or surface rub marks, across both sides. These measure from 1 cm to 4 cm in length.
Otherwise, there are some light, mild, very mild or more moderate surface sleeve rubs, or surface rub marks, which can only be seen under a strong light. The paper sleeve, over time, has left some light, mild, very mild or very minor dull surface marks on some areas. These can only be seen under a strong light. The A-side is in Good++ condition. The B-side is in Good condition. Overall, Good+ condition. A previous owner, a long time ago, has accidentally dripped some liquid/ drink on the B-side label. This has left a few stains on the B-side label (see photo). The A-side label is in Near Excellent condition. The B-side label is in Good++ condition. There is mild or very mild spindle wear. The original company paper sleeve is in Very Good++ condition. There is some light, very mild or very minor ringwear, fading & creasing. There are no seam splits.
I have fully play tested this 7" single. The A-side plays Very Good to Very Good+ overall. There is some light, mild, very mild or very minor crackle noticeable in some quieter places. There are no noticeable clicks or pops on the A-side. The B-side plays Very Good overall. There are a few intermittent light or very mild clicks near the start of the B-side. These do not last too long. They are very much in the background too. Otherwise, the crackle is the same as the A-side. Overall, a very reasonable audio copy.
