The 1975 veröffentlichen im Juni 2020 ihr neues, mittlerweile viertes Album.
»Notes On A Conditional Form« heißt der Nachfolger von »A Brief Inquiry into Online Relationships« aus dem Jahr 2018.
Bereits im Juli 2019 veröffentlichten die Briten den ersten Albumsong, ein Intro mit einem gesprochenen Essay der schwedischen Klimawandelaktivistin Greta Thunberg. Im August folgte die erste Single »People«, im Oktober der Song »Frail State Of Mind«.
Die Lieder zeigen einen spannenden Pop-Mix mit Einflüssen aus Hip-Hop, Rock und elektronischer Musik.
Insgesamt warten auf der Platte 22 Stücke. Es ist also das bislang längste Album der Band.
»Notes On A Conditional Form« kommt als limitierte Indie Store Doppel-LP auf weißem Vinyl.
