Test Pressing – FURTWANGLER / BERLIN P.O. – TCHAIKOVSKY: SYMPHONY No.6
2 single-sided HMV white label test pressings made in England – no indication of catalogue number. One label states "Transfer of DB 4609/14" (see photos). Matrix Nos. 2XRA 10005-21D / 2XRA 10006-21C. The original (scruffy) inner is date stamped 7 JUN 1960. Wilhelm Furtwangler conducting the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra in Symphony No.6 by Tchaikovsky.
The discs have an unplayed appearance; we have not played them.
