Test Pressing – ASD 388 – BIZET Symphony in C/LALO Symphony in G minor – BEECHAM
2 single-sided HMV white-label stereo test pressings (see photos). Issued under catalogue number ASD 388. Bizet: Symphony in C, and Lalo: Symphony in G minor, performed by L’Orchestre National de la Radioffusion Francaise conducted by Sir Thomas Beecham. The original inner has handwritten matrix no. 2YLA – 1078 - 10 and date 23-3-61.
The 2 sides have an unplayed appearance; we have not played them. The commercial sleeve is intact with some edge/corner scuffing/creasing; the rear is discoloured with an ink inscription "30 mins".
