Description

Terry Reid - The River

(Atlantic K40340 UK LP 1973)

This is a UK original LP pressing. It has a heavyweight matt gatefold sleeve. It comes with its original company plain paper inner sleeve. The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has 1st press A-1/ B-1 matrix stampers. A great early 1970's Rock LP. Now regarded as a bit of a classic.

Gatefold Sleeve: There is some mild or more moderate rubbing wear to the corner tips. There is a small area of rubbing wear to the top edge. There are some light or very mild indentation marks on the front in a couple of places. Overall, a very reasonable copy. The text on the spine is perfectly legible. VG++ condition

Vinyl: There are some light, mild or very mild sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. There are 5 light surface hairline marks. These measure from 1 cm to 6 cm in length. VG condition. The labels are in VG+ condition & show mild to more moderate spindle wear. The company inner sleeve is in VG condition. There is some mild to more moderate ringwear, fading & creasing. There are no seam splits.

I have fully play tested this LP. It plays VG to VG+ overall. There is some light, mild or very mild crackle in the quieter places. There are 3 light clicks on 1 track on Side 2. This LP would benefit from a professional clean. It would definitely play better thereafter.
