Description

Here’s a very rare original Columbia studio acetate of Terry Melcher’s single “Be a Soldier” b/w “I Love You Betty,” released in ’63 under the name Terry Day. The A-side, as produced by Jack Nietzsche, sounds like the same version on the single; but the Phil Spector-produced B-side has subtle differences from the released version, including a little spoken bit in the outro. Condition is VG++ to EX on both sides.
