Description

Here is a super clean piece of vinyl from Terry Allen. This is Amerasia, his obscure sound track to a film by Wolf-Eckart Buhler released in 1987 on Fate Records in small quantities. The film was a documentary about American soldiers that stayed in southeast Asia after the Vietnam War ended. Terry Allen decided to take a band to Cambodia and record at a studio and at a live show in the Thai jungle. Then he took the tapes back to Lubbock, Texas and interspersed those with new recordings. The outcome is Amerasia, a fascinating listen through and through. In 1987, this vinyl release was only produced in small quantities making this quite a collector's piece for fans of Terry Allen. This will be packed and shipped with care using bubblewrap and a hard cardboard box.
